"Star Jasmine, a new CD released Feb. 21 is now available at Cactus Records in Bozeman. The CD features local singer songwriter Jim Averitt, along with Dave Mason, Kenny Loggins, Ginger Baker, Van Morrison, Al Hendrix and Jim Capaldi. Performing with Averitt on his song, "Jasmine" are locals Duke Sharp, Chris Cunninghma and Mike Gillan.

The mission statement of "Star Jasmine" is to create and share a CD of inspiring and healing music honoring the loving memory of Jasmine, a child who know the joy of music before her life tragically ended; to commemorate that life by generating donations for the purpose of providing musical instuments to underprivileged childen.

Jim Averitt has released his 4th cd SIROCCO on Jimbobway Music.

Musicians featured on this cd include Randy Tico on Bass, Jeff Pevar on electric guitar, Tom Lackner on drums, Kevin Winard on percussion, Mitchell Yoshida on keyboards and Lois Mahalia on background vocals.
